How It Works

1. You upload, drop, or paste an image in the browser.

2. ScanText runs Tesseract.js locally when supported for speed and privacy.

3. If confidence is low or you request Higher quality, the image is sent to our Railway-hosted OCR API (EasyOCR).

4. Text is shown in an editor — copy, download TXT, or DOCX.

5. Server copies are deleted quickly; we do not require an account.
